Feyd was our pick boy and keeper out of the co-bred Moon
Litter, Feyd's classic type is no surprise given his linebred
pedigree. He is a unique puppy - one of the "easiest" pups I've
ever raised - with a laid-back, physically affectionate (always sweet, snuggly,
and loving), and "unphased-by-anything"
temperament. He finished quickly and easily with 3 majors, including WD at the 2009 National
Specialty from the Bred-by class, and he has both of his majors in AKC lure coursing, as well
as in training for eventual obedience competition.
He was named after a character in the
fictional novel, Dune, by Frank Herbert. In the story, Feyd-Rautha
Harkonnen was heir to the thrown of the 'kingdom' he was born into. The
product of years of selective breeding, he was physically beautiful, athletically
superior, and treacherously intelligent. We expect our Feyd to live up to
his namesake!
