What are all those letters and acronyms before and after a show/performance dog's name? They represent TITLES that the dog has earned for specific achievements or specific wins that they've earned in competition. Titles are very important to serious dog enthusiasts and breeders as they are a way to signify to others what their dog has proven him/herself capable of. Titles are offered in every competitive venue of AKC, and many other organizations. This page will cover the basic AKC show and performance titles (catering to those titles that Pharaoh Hounds are eligible to earn), and few other organizations in which Pharaohs can title.
