Sonic is the puppy I kept out of the lovely Samba's first litter. He was the one and only boy, and exactly what we had hoped to get from this exciting breeding. Sonic has done very well in the ring, maintaining a secure position in the Top 10 since 18 months of age, winning many BOBs and Group Placements/Wins exclusively breeder-owner-handled (which has made his nice wins thus far all the more rewarding). He also has both of his majors towards his AKC Field Championship in just one weekend of coursing. Unfortunately, Sonic and I were involved in a serious car accident in late 2005, and we were both injured, forcing Sonic's coursing career to be put on hold for the time being. Sonic's movement is his strongest point - he has an effortless, ground-covering side gait and very sound down-and-back movement. He holds a strong topline and walks into a perfect stack very naturally. He loves to show, and it shows (pardon the pun)! He is a camera ham who loves to be photographed, and he lives to be the center of attention, making him a fun dog (though sometimes an over-enthusiastic handful) to show. Sonic's strong temperament is also one of the best things about him He is a total goofy sweetheart, very playful (almost to a fault), great with other dogs and puppies alike, and a natural-born lap dog.
